Connect the Dots

In life you work towards achieving or fulfilling a desire. All my life I have worked towards connecting the dots, the dots that make me who I am and who I want to become…the dots of my life. As a kid in your coloring book it was just scattered dots on a page and after you begin to make sense of those dots and piece things together it starts to form a picture, sometimes a very big picture. Connecting the dots is something complex that you may not understand while you are connecting those little black circles on a page that look like a mess when you start, but when you are finished you see it all of it in perspective, your perspective.
My dots are my struggles, my triumphs and everything in between. It all starts with my determination and grows by my faith leading to my independence creating what is a beautiful intelligent individual that has potential to become something…something wonderfully amazing and right now I don't know what that something is but I know its something great something with a damn good meaning almost like a good book that you go to sleep reading and wake up in the middle of the night to finish. I will never be done connecting the dots. I will always discover a new dot here and there with meaning and it will build on to what my picture is. I get that it may not be the picture I want it to look like, its his picture, Gods picture and I will accept it because I just will ( he knows what he is doing in this little noggin of mine…hopefully) and if I don't connect the right dots along the way I have an eraser that can take away the line but it wont be completely gone the remnants of that line will be there to remind me that I too am not perfect and I too make mistakes but I can connect the dots of my life. There's a lot more dots to go!
